On July 16, the trial run of E2 edge mill, which was undertaken by Chengdu Heavy Machinery, from Kurashiki Steel Works of JFE in Japan was successful. This equipment is the third rolling mill equipment undertaken by Chengdu Heavy Machinery.

The assembly and trial run of JFE E2 edge mill project was in high-temperature summer. Based on the concept of consumer first, the project team, in order to ensure the close connection and smooth progress for each link, followed the progress closely at the assembly site, cooperated with relevant departments of Wanxin and actively communicated with consumers to ensure the smooth assembly and successful trial run of the equipment, which was highly recognized by consumers.

The equipment is the third edge mill provided by Chengdu Heavy Machinery to JFE of Japan after E3 & E4 edge mills. The successful completion of the project shall further enhance mutual trust and lay a foundation for further in-depth & extensive cooperation. In the future, Chengdu Heavy Machinery shall give full play to its own business advantages & equipment manufacturing capacity advantages of EHEC, and continuously explore new businesses & new markets in overseas metallurgical field on the basis of good cooperation with JFE.
