Recently, the Skoda Rotor and Cylinder Project undertaken by Chengdu Heavy Machinery were successfully delivered.

The Skoda project team reached the cooperation intention with Skoda in December. Given the outbreak of COVID-19 in China in January that resulted in the nationwide suspended operation and production, Skoda was unsure whether we could successfully deliver the project and hesitant to sign a contract with us. Having understood about their misgivings, we made a rapid response to introduce the domestic epidemic situation and containment measures to Skoda as well as national plan to resume work and production in a steady manner which boosted their confidence in us. The contract for Rotor and Cylinder Project was successfully signed in February.

During the production and manufacturing of rotors and cylinders, the Skoda castings and forgings were delivered in advance with high quality and efficiency thanks to the strong support of leaders of Erzhong Equipment Casting Co., Ltd., the great efforts of production, technology, quality and marketing departments as well as workshops, good coordination between manufacturing links, strict inspection and day-and-night operation of key links before delivery.

The Skoda Rotor and Cylinder Project was smoothly delivered at the end of September as agreed in the Contract through the unremitting efforts of the project team and overcoming difficulties. The project team realized its commitment, embodied the contract spirit and gain the critical acclaim from users, which laid a solid foundation for the future in-depth cooperation.
