CDHMC and SKODA signed the Wolfsburg Cylinder Casing Project before the Chinese New Year. However, the clients were worried about the delivery date due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.

In order to assure the delivery date and release clients’ worries, leaders of Casting and Forging Co. paid much attention to it, arranged staff to work at home and progressed the project despite of the disease. Technicians prepared manufacturing process at home to ensure the timely distribution of product process after resumption of work, while the production personnel checked the feeding bottlenecks caused by the disease and reasonably planed production feeding. After the resumption of work, relevant workers of Casting and Forging Co. and CDHMC established the special project team to make joint efforts. After several teleconferences with foreign partners by Xiao Zhangyu model worker innovative shop targeting on the technical materials, the feeding risks were finally resolved. Till now, the product model was completed 3 days ahead of the plan because of the continuous work of the modeling factory.

No matter the technical preparation or the model manufacturing, the real time of every stage is ahead of the plan, which fully presents the theory of completing tasks as early as possible and is highly recognized by the clients, thus creating a good opening for the timely delivery of the whole project. This activity shows our integrity and capacity to response especially in this special period, thus laying a solid foundation for the two parties’ further collaboration.
