The  work roll changer of the finishing mill (the first lot is 62.9 tons) and the bearing block of backup roll (approximately 175 tons) which are applied in the Mexico Ternium2050mm Project signed between SINOMACH-HE Chengdu Heavy Machinery and Primetals Technologies Japan are manufactured respectively by Erzhong Wanxin company and Hanjiang works.

According to the original plan, the project group will work overtime during the Spring Festival to ensure the delivery which was supposed to be in the early February and the date of Shanghai FOB.however, due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, the project group had to cancel the plan and postpone the resumption of work. Meanwhile the president supervisors in EHEC flew back to Japan before January 30 in response to the PTJ’s requirement and entrusted their subsequent tasks to the project group and suppliers.

Despite the decreasing number of workers and heavy tasks, the project group did the preventing and controlling work against the disease and fully caught up with the schedule, highly valuing the credit and customers. The group made explanation on the current situation, thus won the understanding of the Japanese side and reconfirmed the delivery date. Meanwhile, the group made further progress in supervising the on-site work and addressing the on-site technical problems to ensure progress. In this way, the group guaranteed the smooth delivery of the bearing block on February 16 and the first lot of roll changing rigs on February 26 and further ensure the progress of the Mexico Ternium2050mm Project.
