On December 9th, the delegation of owner’s joint inspection of the Mexico Ternium 2050mm hot continuous rolling mill project arrived at Erzhong Equipment and conducted ultimate joint inspection over sizing machine, flying shear drum and other equipment.

Accompanied by Mr. Tsutsui, Project Manager of PTJ, Mr. Okada, responsible person of inspection, members of PTJ Project of CDHMC and relevant responsible persons of EHEC, the representative of owner’s joint inspection arrived at the Heavy Machinery Branch and went through the joint inspection. This joint inspection focuses on nearly 600 tons of sizing machine frame, outer block, inner block, eccentric shaft, pinch roll and other components, as well as over 120 tons of the flying shear drum. This program is viewed as a difficult one in the processing, assembly and precision control comparing with other kinds of metallurgical equipment.

With the company of relevant responsible persons of EHEC and CDHMC and supervisory workers on the site of Japan’s PTJ, the project passed the inspection at a time. After the inspection, the components of the sizing machine frame and flying shear drum will be shipped to the site of Mexico after partial packing.
